About Baltimore Serenade:
The "Home" page gives a little taste of each section of the website, while conveying pertinent information; so that if you
do not read anything else, one can no longer be blind to the necessity to act, especially when one is in a place of political
power and will. There are currently 8 sections. This website merely started from an idea that I needed to write more than
a letter, in order to express the urgent priorities Baltimore should and must have for the Baltimore City Government. What
I soon learned that my letters weren't too long, the issue is simply, people just don't want to read, let alone study and
do research. Through testimony experience, I learned that what stands in for professors are lobbyists (mainly unregistered
lobbyists).
Baltimore Serenade is a personal, self-supported website by the Creator, Writer, and Researcher. Baltimore Serenade is solution-oriented;
investigating and sharing in-depth, the issues that imperatively need to be addressed - in order for Baltimore - to HAVE
a future. Many pictures are clickable; meaning that it will lead you to corresponding article.
There is a tremendous amount of information, and it will take some getting used to comprehending the connections and entire
picture of all actions and decisions that are before us. I recommend taking breaks, as it is quite depressing to ingest the
amount of suffering - so please come back over and over again. I hope "little lightnesses"; songs and more, will offer you
the ability to know, all that is needed to be done - can be done - with an open mind, heart, soul, and - with me. As society
has succumbed, be assured, Baltimore Serenade is a 100% "ReaL" educational website; nothing "artificial." I and I alone have
written and built this website, letter by letter.

MISSION: To bring, awaken, and guide reparative environmental consciousness planning and implementation on every level, especially
for all animals' welfare and well-being (including humans), and physical: transport, land allocation, utilities, infrastructure,
and homes in order for Baltimore to not only survive Greenhouse Affect/Effect, but thrive, as via template of Baltimore's
Peace Resolution of 2001.
VISION: To express what is in my heart by contemplating topic-specific reparation hypotheses Baltimore needs to make, determine
through research and evidence - validity, create a page directory for each specific topic through the creation of a website
I write and create myself, and offer recommendations and plans regarding how to make enormously popular and successful reparations
with forever changing the trajectory of not just the recipients, and their families, but all Baltimoreans, Maryland, and United
States.
To move Urban Homesteading - Dollar House program to becoming BALTIMORE REPARATIONS: 15,000 HOUSE PLAN. As I continue
to place content on more pages. Eight main topics have been identified, and each has its own directory. Some subjects overlap,
and are noted on those pages. But first is the decision that reparations are necessary. Better than money: a net zero and
net positive renovated house and an entrepreneur career.
"THE PEACE RESOLUTION"
COME HOME
Goal: To rehabilitate 15,000 HOMES ~ SHELTERS.
Goal: To use these 15,000 houses for Baltimore City and Baltimore City Department of Housing Reparations of Ownership: for
Indigenous People, Slavery, as well as "rent-to-never-own" own swindles of the late 1960's and 1970's and those who were forced
out their homes with projects that never transpired.
Goal: Through partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, Trade Unions, and other training facilities, rehabilitate
these houses by those who will be living in them
Goal: Opportunity to experience personal and family pride and accomplishment - both in career in a trade and homeownership
Goal: For the houses to be, "net zero" and "net positive" houses, in other words, ready for continuous Baltimore living, as
ready for global warming and climate change.
ALL AT HOME
Goal: For the houses to be, "net zero" and "net positive" houses, in other words, ready for continuous Baltimore living, as
ready for global warming and climate change.
Goal: To implement the need for restructuring streets for streetcars and trolleys, vastly reducing the need for amount of
automobiles. Less automobiles means less traffic, something that car drivers and owners would want, right?
Goal: Baltimore use primary energy hydrothermal and geothermal (waves, tides) and ancillary energies solar,
and wind. These are the TRUE "NATURAL" ENERGIES.
Goal: To have the 15,000 homes be renovated and set up with all superior materials, especially stone foundations that do not
collect radon inside home (remortared - "Good for another 100 years) and superior energy technologies such as solar tiles
and textiles, not solar panels (no investment in old technology/ies)
Goal: For all Baltimore City homes and commercial be retrofitted. Become ready for "direct use" hydrothermal and geothermal
energy through hydronic radiant floor for heating and cooling systems using heat pumps (no more furnaces - take up valuable
space and are noisy)
STRUCTURE
Goal: To end amount of trash that currently sits 6 of 7 days to a trash and recycle receptacle communal collection system
that people can use everyday, thereby ending need for trashcans and alleys being filled with excess, and rats and raccoons
being able to feed and endanger with diseases and rabies.
Goal: The creation of a complete Baltimore City Transit independent system, which focuses exclusively on needs of Baltimore
Citizens and Residents that will never, ever be served through "regional" means. MTA has had 53 years to rectify, and continues,
more than ever, to choose segregation, racial, and classist routes. MTA continues to build "regional" which in reality through
subway and light rail, is for mostly county people who already have transportation, the automobile, to use, so they will never
ever have to take a bus, made for the "poor" and grimy. Baltimore Link (changing all routes but one, the 22 in 2017) has
failed. Rapid Bus Transit has failed, with crumbling painted streets, as automobiles continue to clog those paths, with even
buses never being able to get to them.
Goal: A citywide Baltimore City Transportation System - absent for 53 years. Name? BATS: Baltimore Accurate Transport System
becoming eventually BATSS: Baltimore Accurate Transport Streetcar System
Goal: BATS/BATSS ends redundancy through looped Neighborhood Connectors, and Main Streets connecting each Neighborhood Connector.
First current use of buses, converting to all streetcar routes.
Goal: Streetcars make up BATSS; running exclusively on dedicated lanes, never again having to compete with motor vehicles.
Many of the rails are buried in our streets. Streetcars, even 125 years old, are still running routes in USA today. If
streetcars were running on dedicated lanes in the first place, we would still have the only true Net Zero Carbon Emission
Transit.
Goal: Streetcars will reduce drastically ground ozone, both from gas exhaust, but more prominent tire erosion carbon emission.
Goal: Streetcars goes seamlessly with Generation Y "Millennial" and Generation Z trend to not even bother with a driver's
license, much less purchase an automobile. The cost of insurance, repairs, upkeep, parking and storage, tickets, emissions
testing, gasoline, and even more expensive electric-battery replacements (One estimate: $22,000), makes personal transportation
second only to a place to live in cost. Extinguishing that cost allows especially these generation populations the ability
to achieve homeownership. Without, the president is imminent. They will be at best, lower-middle class, mostly renters,
of which property owners, "landlords" will continue to dictate their future.
Notice, for example, the #2 route, traveling from Fort McHenry all the way to Druid Hill Park.
It takes an army of people. Not just fixing houses,
but planting trees, stoking waterways........
It takes another CCC: Civilian Conservation Corps
"Into the Woods: The First Year of the Civilian Conservation Corps" - National Archives
"Of the three million men who took part in the New Deal-era public works program, it is estimated that around 53% came
from rural parts of the country."

The trees and their leaves of Civilian Conservation Corps saplings evade global warming for most of south. In other words,
it stalls the affect of global heating.
"The reforestation has been remarkable and we have shown this has translated into the surrounding air temperature. The 'Warming
Hole' has been a real mystery and while this doesn't explain all of it, this research shows there is a really important link
to the trees coming back.” - Mallory Barnes, environmental scientist at Indiana University.
THE PROBLEM:
"These programs often do not in the long-term change how cities make surface decisions. City infrastructure decisions
are made by city departments that lack the expertise, authority, or tools to quantify, and understand critical costs and benefits
or make decisions based on them."
"The question needs to be asked: Will use of these technologies result in continued harm to frontline communities {cities},
where residents suffer from health issues caused by their neighborhood's power plant, incinerator, factory, or other chronic
polluter? ...
If retailers and distributors, like Amazon, invest in forest offsets in Appalachia to offset their carbon dioxide
emissions from shipping, it does nothing to repair the cardiovascular system damage in people who live near
their shipping centers." (2022)
Unfortunately, there is not enough land mass on Planet Earth to accommodate all the trees companies are claiming to plant.
It is a horrid fallacy. The companies who claim are worse than polluters that who do not, stealing your trust.
HUMANITY HAS A BROKEN PERCEPTION OF RISK
"The Global Assessment Report (GAR) blames these disasters on a broken perception of risk based on 'optimism, underestimation,
and invincibility,' which leads to policy, finance, and development decisions that exacerbate existing vulnerabilities
and put people in danger." (2022)

chooses to concentrate its energy on mentoring, works with the vision that opportunity and prosperity is indeed
unlimited for all, integrates efficient land allocation and conservation, and is not afraid to say compassionate
love is the central focus of politics." - "The Peace Resolution"

"Located alongside the Tennessee River, Muscle Shoals, Alabama has helped create some of the most important and resonant
songs of all time. Overcoming crushing poverty and staggering tragedies, Rick Hall brought black and white together to create
music for the generations. He is responsible for creating the "Muscle Shoals sound" and The Swampers, the house
band at FAME Studios that eventually left to start its own successful studio known as Muscle Shoals Sound. Gregg Allman and
others bear witness to Muscle Shoals' magnetism, mystery and why it remains influential today."
