Batman and Robin join forces with Superman during what we and history call, "World War II." As the war dragged
on, more and more food was scarce, as the farmers with larger plots of land grew for the army, navy, and new air force.
So it was important for everyone, yes EVERYONE to grow food, have chickens... and barter for needs. Rations often came
in dried form, so fresh food was a welcome luxury. The good news was, just as it is today, that it did not
matter what ones' financial status was, but using what one has - whether own land or rent land.
